Updated Situations as of July 28

Hope you're finding ways to stay cool!! The heat here is just unreal - and our Lily wants nothing to do with sprinklers of any sort. She says that they're "too watery" for her:)

Also, I wanted to note that a few agencies have contacted us lately letting us know they're low on families - especially those open to biracial/African American babies. If that applies to you, definitely call or email ASAP and remember the 15%-20% discount that is good until the end of the month! :)

The following are a few new/still waiting to be matched situations from a couple of the agencies we work with; I wanted to note, too, since I've had a few questions lately that the fees listed are as close to all-encompassing as we can get. Unless noted, assume that the "agency fee" includes legal, medical, expenses, etc. If the medical or legal is additional, we try to always note that. If you have questions, definitely don't hesitate to call me or email to ask! :)

Caucasian/African American unknown gender due in Oct. Agency fees are 26,500 (includes all legal and medical) plus 4K in expenses to mom.

Hispanic baby girl due in Aug. Agency fees are 31,500 (includes all legal and medical) plus 4K in expenses to mom.

African American/Puerto Rican baby girl due Sept. 26 in Utah. Agency fees are 22,500 plus medical

Korean/African American baby girl due in Aug. Agency fees are 26,500 (includes all legal and medical) plus 4K in expenses to mom.

African American baby boy due August 27 in Utah. Agency fees are 16K plus medical

Hispanic baby girl due in Sept. Agency fees are 28,500 plus 4K in assistance to mom.

African American baby boy due Aug. 17 in Utah. Agency fees are 16,500 plus 8-10 medical

Great Adoptive Families Article

You know how I love Adoptive Families magazine:) There was a great article this month that I know so many families could relate to - it is called Adoption Law: At the Hospital and you can read it HERE.

I know when we were at the hospital waiting for our daughter to be born, we wanted to be sure to follow all the proper procedures and there was a bit of fear in us about how to act and what we could and couldn't do. We were given hospital bracelets and were able to see the baby even before consent had been signed, but that was because our precious birth mom had asked if we could be there with our daughter from the beginning of her life. I know I have clients who ask lots of hospital-related questions or have concerns about how that will go, and as always in adoption, there's never an absolute, but I love the info this article shared, so I'm passing it on to you:)

Congratulations Jennifer and Brian!

There is nothing in the world better about what I do than this:

What a miracle:) God is so good! Jennifer and Brian became clients (and friends!) May 9. They were matched with their daughter's birth mom on June 16th and their beautiful girl was born July 5! Their little firecracker:) It's amazing to see God work so quickly in bringing families together! They had been through so much in their path to their daughter, but their incredible faith in the knowledge that God would bring them the child meant for them was an inspiration. I am so honored and blessed to know them and to have played a tiny role in their sweet girl's adoption. Congratulations, Jenn and Brian!
