Caucasian baby Unknown gender due in March in TN Agency fee of 18,500 plus 6K in assistance plus legals

African American baby boy due Feb. 6th in AZ Agency fee of 10K plus 2K in assistance plus legals

Biracial twins will be born in VA (UT law will govern adoption) due in June Agency fees of 30K (includes all legals) plus 9K in assistance to mom

Caucasian unknown gender baby due in Feb. Will be born in NV, but UT law will govern adoption Agency fees of 18,500 (includes legal) plus 7K in assistance

Caucasian baby girl due May 27 Agency fees of 26,500 includes medical, expenses to mom, and legals

Congratulations Josie and Shannon (and family!)

Josie and Shannon became clients (and great friends) Sept. 22. They matched with their amazing birth mom Oct. 10th (less than two weeks!) and their beautiful son was born last week. Congratulations to the happy family - what an awesome miracle! I feel so blessed to have played even a little part and even more blessed to have made such a lovely friend! :)

Helpful Adoption Travel Site

Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season! I was forwarded the most helpful, adoption-related travel site that I wanted to pass along:

This company is run by a couple who has adopted, and knows about traveling on a moments notice. They are able to help you get discounts on airfare, rental cars and hotels. I know when we adopted our daughter, we had to stay in the hotel for more than two weeks, so this might be a service that could save a little money! :)

Congratulations Kathy and Jason!!

I have to send out a big congratulations to my friends, Kathy and Jason. They signed up with us on Oct. 16th. They got their application in to one of our agencies on Nov. 5th. They were matched the very next day, and their son was born last Wed. How is that for fast?? :) I'm so excited for them and so thankful to have been a part of their journey! Congrats:)

November is National Adoption Month!!

In November, the President makes a Proclamation declaring November National Adoption Month. I read this today:

A PROCLAMATION

All children deserve a safe, loving family to protect and care for them. In America, thousands of young people are waiting for that opportunity. During National Adoption Month, we honor those families that have strengthened America through adoption, and we recommit to reducing the number of children awaiting adoption into loving families.

America is a country rich in resources and filled with countless caring men and women who hope to adopt. These individuals come from all walks of life, united in their commitment to love a child who is in need of the protective arms of a parent. We must do more to ensure that adoption is a viable option for them. By continually opening up the doors to adoption, and supporting full equality in adoption laws for all American families, we allow more children to find the permanent homes they yearn for and deserve.

I love it! Something we can all support politically and who can say that these days?? :) Happy Adoption month to all of those touched by adoption, all of those waiting to adopt, the amazing first parents who love so much, and to those who are made parents through adoption!
